So, I recently moved in with my boyfriend. It's been a lot of fun so far! At least... it was for a little while...
The thing is, the universe seems to hate us a bit... a few days after I moved in, he lost his job. Not for anything he did, just mainly due to certain people not doing THEIR jobs, and him getting blamed for it.
He's taking it kinda hard. He's been drinking more (not too much, don't worry) and I'm not really sure where his head's at... he seems much more detatched lately. I can't say I blame him, though. He's been working there for years, and this came as a major shock to everyone.
I just worry about him. Especially now- it's the beginning of Convention Season, and he's a bigger con-nut than I am! Despite my advice he's determined for us to go to RadCon this weekend... I've managed to convince him to forgo all other usual cons for the sake of our keeping the house/being able to hold out for a new job (I also lost mine recently...).
As it stands, if neither of us manages to get a job, we'll be able to live semi-comfortably for about 2 months. After that... who knows?
... To my readers, please don't tell my family. I don't need them worrying any more than they already do. I can promise you now that I'll be fine. I just know some of you worry as well, so I try to post updates every so often even if it's not the best news.
I love you all dearly, and I'll post again after RadCon.

Quelle Suprise...
So another holiday has come, and once again, the food is the only good part of it.
A large portion of the family (2 of my cousins, my uncle, my grandmother, and my sister) seems to want to make sure everything is dramadramadrama, as opposed to focusing on what we are/ should be thankful for.
One of my younger cousins (2-3 years younger than myself), has decided to have a meltdown and not tell anyone what's wrong, fight endlessly with her mother, and just be an overall brat all day. It's exhausting.
My sister is throwing a rather vocal hissy fit because my aformentioned cousin won't tell her anything. She is currently sulking in the den, playing Super Mario Bros. Wii.
My older cousin (the family druggie) refuses to show up, so that's kind of a good news/ bad news thing... good, because no finger pointing, but bad because there's a lot of rumor spreading going on by my grandmother... Old people are rather gossipy!
My uncle, the father of the first cousin, is drunk off his ass, and yelling at his son for watering down his alcohol... or at leasthe was. Now he's hugging him, crying and apologising.
What ever happened to holidays being about family being together?
